Gum Disease

In early stages of gum disease, where the patient has Gingivitis, we can work with you to improve your gum health and give you a proper treatment plan to prevent any further development. If you are in a later stage of gum disease, we will come up with a personalized treatment plan specifically for you, perform the x-rays needed, and follow through with any in-office procedures that we feel are best for you and your teeth moving forward.

Fillings

We understand that sometimes cavities happen. We know that you don’t want to walk around with a mouth full of metal, so we provide our patients with porcelain fillings for a more natural look that is extremely wear-resistant. Porcelain fillings last an average of 15 to 30 years while metal fillings last an average of 15 years of less. Although there’s no technical way to say exactly how long your fillings will last, with proper oral hygiene, regular teeth cleanings, and office exams, your porcelain fillings have the potential to last a lifetime.

Root Canals

We know that when you hear the words “root canal,” that can seem pretty scary. We want to provide confidence in you that even in the worst cases of tooth damage, we will devise a thorough dental treatment plan for you that ensures getting your teeth back to a healthy state. With our patients that need a root canal, we fully examine the tooth, take x-rays, and for the procedure, we numb that area so that you don’t feel a thing. After you are numb, we clean and disinfect your tooth, fill the tooth, and seal it. After a few weeks, we will place a permanent crown over the tooth and make sure all signs of infection are completely gone.

Bridges

Dental bridges may be needed for patients that have gaps between missing teeth. We will place a dental bridge in these cases that are supported by your natural, healthy teeth. This will entirely restore your smile, restore your ability to chew/bite properly, and prevent other teeth from shifting out of position. If you were feeling self-conscious before, rest assured that you will smile again with confidence.

Dental Implant Restorations

Dental implant restorations are a modern technique used for tooth replacement. The first step in this procedure is to fully discuss your dental treatment plan and schedule your appointment. Next, for your appointment, we will place a replacement tooth root. The time for this can vary depending on the patient. After the tooth root is replaced, we will place a tooth replacement, also called crown. The healing time for each patient is different, although the new implant should fully integrate into the bone within 3-6 months.

If you are interested in having a dental implant, please directly contact our office, and we can get your dental treatment plan started, answering any questions that you might have along the way.
